A Tough Endorsement Process

Some groups and PACs offer endorsements based on political party affiliation, but not the Naperville Area Chamber PAC. Candidates must earn our endorsement each cycle based on their knowledge of the issues and vision for the future.

Our board members take their role seriously, and commit to spending time with each candidate who has volunteered to run for office with an endorsement interview and reading a candidate questionnaire. In the endorsement interview and over the course of their public service and campaigning, candidates and officials must demonstrate they deserve the endorsement of the business community we represent.

In contested elections we offer individual interview session to each candidate who is running. Since being founded, NACPAC has completed more than 450 endorsement interviews, getting to know the individuals seeking to represent you in public office.

This process makes sure that our endorsements are offered on merit, ability, temperament, and competency on the key issues.

As Required By Law & Notices:

Paid for by Naperville Area Chamber Political Action Committee. This committee is not authorized by any candidate and candidates are not responsible for the activities of the committee. A copy of our report is (or will be) available from the State Board of Elections, Springfield, Illinois 1020 S. Spring Street, Springfield, IL 62704.

Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

State law enforces contribution caps at $21,600 per calendar year for corporations, $53,900 per calendar year for PAC’s and $10,800 per calendar year for individuals.

NACPAC reserves the right to return or refuse a contribution at anytime.
