YPN June Professional Development Series – Social Entrepreneurship

The Young Professionals of the Naperville Chamber (YPN) invite all Members to their next Professional Development Series Friday, July 13, featuring a presentation introducing how social entrepreneurship impacts today’s business world.

This informative presentation will inform attendees that there is an increased social mindset in business and as a result, it is important to understand the impact of social entrepreneurship in various capacities of business. Understanding and utilizing social entrepreneurship will be paramount to the success of any social minded organization and will serve as a positive impact on stakeholders.

Josh Seago of Naperville Bank and Trust and Chad Pedigo of North Central College will introduce the major components of social entrepreneurship and how young professionals can apply the components to a variety of business models and professions. This overview will provide a working knowledge of the vocabulary, theory and application of this exciting and growing field.

The presentation takes place from 7:30 – 9 a.m. at the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Conference Room A, 55 S. Main St. Suite 351 in downtown Naperville. The event is open to YPN Members and nonmembers.
